He was also inducted into Phi Beta Kappa, the oldest and most prestigious national honor society in the United States. Richmond obtained his law degree from the University of Florida Levin College of Law in 2014, where he received book awards in his research and writing classes including Law and Literature and Appellate Advocacy.
While in law school, Richmond completed two internships with the Honorable Monte C. Richardson, United States Magistrate Judge for the Middle District of Florida. Richmond later served as a law clerk for Judge Richardson following the completion of his legal studies and admission to the Florida Bar.
In addition to his law degree, Richmond maintains an active certified public accountant (“CPA”) license issued by the Florida Board of Accountancy. Earlier in his professional career, Richmond worked for several years as a senior auditor at a nationally ranked accounting firm where he conducted financial statement audits of businesses, non-profits, and governmental entities. Today, Richmond brings the same dedication and attention to detail that he utilized as a CPA to the practice of law when he is holding insurance companies accountable to their policyholders.
In his free time, Richmond enjoys biking and playing beach volleyball.
